Post Publishing Depression

Every time I put a new book out I suffer all kinds of sad, ridiculous angst. I’m finally getting over releasing The Kids’ Table. Apparently that’s not unusual, many writers hit a wall when their current project is finished. Good to know I’m not a total loon.

I was planning on immediately starting another holiday novella but I’ve decided against it. I need to finesse my web page, find more betas for my crack squad of front-line readers, and finish Souls by the Sea: The Glorious Fourth sooner rather than later. It’s the third in the series and a summer read. I want it perfected before summer! Before spring even. But I’m not going to make myself even crazier than normal. My greatest fault is rushing things.

Back to the ‘ol day job before someone notices me typing. Yikes.
