I’ll take it. Today is August 1st and the end of summer is in sight. WOOT! WOOT! I took stock when rain clouds blew away the swampy funk yesterday afternoon. The leaves on the magnolias are turning yellow, the blossoms on the crape myrtles are fading, and the mornings are getting darker and darker. Autumn is on its way. The heatwave has broken, too. What a relief. Of course, it’ll come back but not this week.
Just gotta hang on!
